One of my favorite things about editing is the delightful people I get to work with and the amazing stories I get to peek at and help forge into their truest selves. I am so grateful to have worked with these and other fine writers, and am looking forward to working with you!
As an editor myself, I am incredibly particular about who edits me. Editing is not rewriting – it’s an instructive, collaborative give-and-take to whip the book into its best possible shape. Bridget has a sharp eye of the needed basics, but more importantly, can autopsy scenes like nobody’s business. If something isn’t working, she won’t hold back, but she won’t leave you hanging, either. She’s incredible at characterization, pacing, and has a storyteller’s natural intuition. I can think of no one else I’d want working on one of my projects. -Holly D. Atkinson/Rosalie Stanton
"I’ve worked with several editors and I sincerely loved all of them. But Bridget E. Wilde is my go-to! She gets into every nook and cranny of my manuscripts and finds rough diamonds to polish. Not only does she have a sharp eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies, but she also gives unambiguous comments and feedback that help me elevate my stories. I love her thoroughness and ability to spot what can be improved. She’s an excellent editor, and I highly recommend her! " -Miranda P. Charles
"I'm afraid that the quality of Bridget's work has spoiled me, and that to work with any other editor is now an inconceivable prospect. I plan to remain her client for as long as she'll have me, and sing her praises to everyone who will listen. She's that good." - Ellie Rose McKee
"Bridget is outstanding. She catches every flaw, every error, every inconsistency. She sees all the emotional nuance and every facet of character development. She helps with sensory detail, social messaging, and plot tangles. I’ve never felt more supported as a writer." -Anna Sheehan
